Blog Candy - Just leave a prayer for Shelly

It's CANDY TIME!
And Prayers for Shelly are all I ask...

I have never given away blog candy. So now's the time!
And as a way to get as many people as I can
praying for my dear friend Shelly,
I ask that you leave a prayer for her
on this post or your get well wishes for her.

Many of you who know me, know about my dear friend Shelly who is suffering from breast cancer that has spread. Shelly is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy and she could use our prayers!
She is a faithful wonderful mother of 4 beautiful children and a loving and devoted wife to her hubby Bill.
Shelly has never complained once through this entire struggle with this horrible disease. She still even worries about me and my health issues. She is a loving, kind & devoted woman of God, who prays regularly and loves everyone she meets. Everyone loves Shelly! She has the sweetest soul you would ever want to meet.
She always stands on God's word that He WILL HEAL HER of this! I ask that you stand with us and declare to the heavens that a miracle will come to Shelly and all of this cancer will be reversed.
Man doesn't have final say, doctors don't have final say....God has final say!

It would be an honor to offer up prayers for your dear Friend, Shelly. Lord I ask that you just wrap your arms around Shelly. I ask that you just give her a peace that only you can give. I ask that you also comfort her family and the precious children that you have given her. Lord I ask that you disolve this disease in her body Lord. You know her body, you made her body. We don't always know why, but we put our faith in you, because you do know all. I ask that you give Shelly the strength that she needs while going through her treatments. Help her rest in the Hope that lies within her. I thank you...and I ask this all in your precious name, Amen.

Shelly,
You dont know me, but we both know our Lord. Trust in Him. Believe in Him. I will pray for you, that your doctors will have His hands on theirs, that they will do His handiwork. I pray that you keep up your strength, and that He gives you strength when you feel you dont have enough to get through the day. Be comforted by His word, because we know it is true.

There are many who are praying for you and I am one of them.

Loving you in Christ

Well, I have already mailed my card, as I think you know! :)
I pray for Shelly so often, and my heart goes out to her family and children during this time.

Lord, I pray that you will give Shelly peace, and give her children and husband peace in knowing that you are in control. I ask that, if it is your will, that Shelly be healed so that she can continue to further your kingdom here on earth.

Shelly - stay strong and keep hopeful. Never lose faith in God, or your doctors, nurses, and family. You are going through hell right now, but know you have the support and prayers of family and friends. We are all praying for you. Here's a psalm I often find comforting.

"You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word." Psalm 119:114

Shelly,

You have a dear friend here in Tammy. As the Lord has blessed you with many who are praying for you, I want you to know that I too ask the Lord to rid your body of this disease. May the Lord wrap his loving arms around you, bless you and keep you healthy. I ask that the Lord give you peace during this difficult time, and I hope and pray that He surprises those doctors with yet another miracle that only He can perform. May he comfort you, your husband and dear children so that you have a long and prosperous life with them. Love, hugs, and definitely Prayers for a speedy recovery! God bless, Kelly

Shelly,
I pray the Lord keeps you safe in His loving and gracious arms. I know this is a time more difficult than most can comprehend, but you are not in this battle alone. You have many around the world praying for you and a complete recovery; however, God is there with you, right by your side...holding your hand, carrying you through the roughest spots, and lifting your spirits when they are at their lowest. He has promised to always be there in our moments of need, and He is the One that never breaks a promise. When I contemplate your situation, Matthew 18:19-20 comes to mind, “Again I say unto you, that is two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered together, there am I in the midst of them.” He is in the midst of us, and I pray He gives you peace and eliminates this dreadful disease.
With great love,
Carolyn

Dear Shelly,

We understand what you are going through and add you to our prayers. My husband has mesotheleoma and is also undergoing chemo and radiation. This is hard on you and hard on your family and friends but know that the Lord is watching over you.

I like to dedicate this prayer for Shelly...(I found it a while back on line.I love it for it's simplicity yet it conveys so much, wether the pain is extremely physical and delabitating or mentally challenging or just the plain temporary pain of the day!Once in a while I 'dust it off' and offer it to the Almighty so He could work his Power to 'fix me'.
Now,this request for 'fixing' is entirely with Shelly in mind and her caring family...
I'm hoping she'll be 'fixed' and healed by our Lord and that she'll have many more years to enjoy and love her family here on Earth.
Please God hear our prayers and bless Shelly with one of your miracles!
Trusting in Jesus~~~Amen

Fix Me Jesus
Oh yes, fix me, Jesus, fix me.
Fix me so that I can walk on
a little while longer.
Fix me so that I can pray on
just a little bit harder.
Fix me so that I can sing on
just a little bit louder.
Fix me so that I can go on despite the pain,
the fear, the doubt, and yes, the anger,
I ask not that you take this cross from me,
only that you give me the strength to continue carrying it onward 'til my dying day.
Oh, fix me, Jesus, fix me.
